Aglis
At Magical City Aglis, Rose encountered Savan and his creations. Savan was a Wingly that made himself ageless and immortal in order to reconstruct a Wingly world though magic. 4000 years of solitude taught him the world of Winglies was obsolete. After losing the significance of life and the meaning of death, the Black Monster appeared in the mirror he used to view the outside world. Rose's actions gave meaning back to Savan's life and he restarted his studies. For 7000 years he worked on constructing an ending to Rose's cruel fate. The result of that construction was the Psychedelic Bomb and Moot.
However the Psychedelic Bomb would not function without sufficient courage. Savan required the Dragoons to make the spell work. Each Dragoon must endure a challenge that will take their courage and create the Psychedelic Bomb. A test of character is given to each person and his or her response determines the strength of the item. The 'bad' response will result in a one-use only Psychedelic Bomb however if everyone gives 'good' responses, the party will receive the reusable Psychedelic Bomb X.
Rose is the only character that does not have to undergo a trial. She had demonstrated more than enough courage by her actions in life. Instead the two exchange thoughts on the God of Destruction and Soa. As a result, Rose will always give the 'good' response.
Challenge Dialogue
Savan: I would often think about it. The thing we are doing, namely Charle creating the Signet Sphere to seal the Moon That Never Sets, and Rose continuously killing the Moon Child. I prepared for the coming evil day with a new signet, Moot, and the Psychedelic Bomb. And waited until the moment. The road to destruction laid by the creator, Soa was supposed to be absolute. But evolution was stopped by us, Winglies. I would often think about it. Whether our deeds were the right thing. And will continue forever. I am afraid. Whether I will be myself until the day my body perishes and becomes dust. Will our intention be engulfed by the intention of the creator, Soa eventually? Is everything meaningless?
Rose: You go too far. We are neither immortal, nor gods. We are mere people. People should just live in the present. Because it means living for the “next” present. I have been that way. And I won’t change. When is my challenge?
