Fort Magrad
"The cursed land where the decline of the Winglies began. Nobody is allowed to touch the door. The Judge Nomos of the Court of Zenebatos."Fort Magrad was the birthplace of the Dragon Campaign. It was here that Emperor Diaz declared war on the Winglies with his Liberation Army and the Dragoons. In the early years of the Campaign, Judge Nomos declared the site the place where the decline of the Wingly Empire began and forbid entrance. It is likely that at this point, Fort Magrad was abandoned by the humans or destroyed in a raid, as it would be impossible to enforce this law after Zenebatos fell.
For Rose, the site had an extra significance. It was here that Zieg and Rose confirmed their intention to wed to Diaz. With his blessing the two proceeded to prepare for the upcoming battle ahead, both believing that even if one should die, their love would be eternal.
Forgotten by Time
"(Dragoons are descending here in this place again.)"The group stumbled across Fort Magrad when they took a wrong turn in the Snowfields. In front of the dilapidated entrance was an official decree from Zenebatos. Being the only one who could read the ancient text, Rose explained that the ruins were off-limits by the order of Judge Nomos and corrected Dart's incorrect assumption that those ruins might be Zenebatos, the group entered much to Rose's dismay. Many memories lingered in this place and Rose was not interested in revisiting her past.
After some convincing, Rose agreed to take a break for Meru. Explaining that the ruins were human made and that she had heard that Diaz declared war in this very place, Meru interrupted them with a call to proceed further. Rose reluctantly agreed, citing to herself that Dragoons were descending to this place again.
Unable to Rest
"It seems the souls of the soldiers who died in the Dragon Campaign have awakened."The group arrived at a large plaza containing a broken statue. Rose kneeled before it and remembered back to when herself, Zieg and Diaz discussed the future. Diaz asked Zieg and Rose to consider the fact that one of them may die in the upcoming battles. Zieg states that their love is eternal and shall transcend death. Diaz is satisfied with this response and promised to deliver them the future. Unfortunately, Zieg does not survive the final battle at Kadessa.
Unsettled Grudge
"I cannot complain that people bear grudges against me."Dart noticed a difference in Rose's persona at the time however Rose shrugged it off as her just being herself. It was obvious that Rose would not want to talk about her dead lover to a man that resembled said dead lover.
The Polter Armor interrupted the Dragoons and proceeded to attack them. There is no obvious reason why the souls of dead Gloriano soldiers would attack the Dragoons who fought on their side. It is possible that the Dragoons eventually were seen as too powerful and were blamed for the death of normal soldiers. Rose noted that she couldn’t complain that there was much hatred towards her. It's also possible that Rose was shunned for surviving the Battle of Kadessa when the other Dragoons, many soldiers, and possibly Diaz himself died. Whatever the reason, their souls were free to rest and Rose was able to put another portion of her past behind her.
