Vellweb
"The Forbidden Land that was the royal capital of the Winglies. And this Vellweb is a mere historic ruin."Capital Vellweb was the glorious city of Emperor Diaz. It was here that his palace was built. Above it were seven towers representing his Dragoon, resting above his palace like a crown. Vellweb was also the location of a giant battery that was capable of shooting down Wingly cities. This arrow was also responsible for shooting down Flanvel.
At some point Vellweb was abandoned by Humans, likely after the death of Diaz. Rose also left the city to fulfill her new destiny and left behind many memories. Among those memories were the souls of her companions
A few interesting notes, a piece of Stardust can be found in Rose's tower. It is possible it once belonged to her as it would unlikely the towers were used after the Dragoons' death. A relief of the Divine Tree can also be found in Rose's tower. It is likely the Divine Tree was common knowledge in those days and it's also possible Rose worshiped a religion involving it. Rose also left behind a headband in Diaz's palace. It is unknown how it got there.
Confrontation
"If you are the true Diaz, you should know what that implies?"Shirley reappeared at the base of the Dragoon towers requesting Rose's help. Apparently the souls of the dead Dragoons wandered the towers to avoid Death City Mayfil. Once again proving her duty was the most important thing, Rose decided to return later with Dart to help send her companions to the afterlife.
Strangely, Diaz's throne room was near the bottom of his palace. Descending the many steps to the entrance, the group found Diaz sitting on his throne in full armor. He had been waiting for them and the Divine Moon Objects. Lloyd was no longer a helpful pawn and was disposed up much to the horror of Dart and his friends. Rose was quick to discern that whoever the man in front of her was, it was not the Emperor Diaz of her past. With his past knowledge of who Rose is, Diaz no longer had a reason to play this role anymore.
Removing his helmet, Rose and Dart were met with a man they both knew well. Dart knew him as father, Rose knew him as Zieg.
Beginning of the End
"I am here, that is a fact."
During an unbelievable conversation, Zieg began to explain the past, present and future. Melbu Frahma had cursed him with eternal petrification however after 11,000 years the spell wore off and Zieg was free to wander around. He put his past with Rose behind him and became the father of Dart. Zieg also told the story of the Crystal Sphere, Soa's creation of Endiness, the last species and many other things unknown to everyone but Rose.
Zieg also revealed the one thing Rose was not ready for. In front of Dart, Zieg nonchalantly told the story of the Black Monster and its identity as Rose. Dart was taken aback by this knowledge as well as filled with an array of emotions. Rose was a very important person to him and it turned out she was his most hatred enemy. Rose resorted to the same cold exterior she was accustomed to. It was the only way she could deal with her emotions.
To crush the spirits of the Dragoons even further, Zieg revealed one last piece of information possibly more damaging than anything before it. He explained that Louvia had a twin sister and that twin sister was the moon child, not the slaughtered princess. That sister was Shana. Rose leaped to strike Shana down in a moment of uncontrolled emotion however Zieg was able to deflect her attack with magic no human should possess.
Taking Shana with him, Zieg left his son and former lover alone in a ruined city with knowledge that could not be forgotten. He has single-handedly strained their friendship to the point where it might not be repaired. The entity controlling everything from the shadows likely reveled in the enjoyment of torturing the one to helped destroy his empire and the son of his killer.
